Making Orders

I have the right to refuse orders. They are not first come, first serve. Fill out the order form thoroughly and carefully. If you miss out on telling me a detail, please make sure to amend it ASAP and inform me before you send payment. It is your responsibility to provide me the details that I will need to do a successful job.

Payment

The commission must be paid in full via PayPal before I start on the order. No eChecks. Either transfer the funds from your bank to your PayPal or use the existing balance to pay the cost of the order.

Works in Progress (WIP)

If you would like to see a WIP (sketch) of your commission, please inform me on the order form. They are .PNG images and will be sent via email or uploaded in my Sta.sh folder on DeviantArt account (InQlet). There is a limit of one (1) per order, unless you pay an additional $3 USD for extra WIPs. It costs me extra time to pause work and wait for your feedback. This is your chance to tell me what you want changed: expressions, details, etc. Please don't be shy if something doesn't sit well with you. I do my best to capture the character's personality, but sometimes I do make mistakes, especially if it wasn't clear in the completed order form.

Changes to the Final Image

I will only make changes to the final piece if it was an error on my part (i.e. I missed a detail that you had provided in the order). If it's a change you want and I did not have clear, obvious information when you placed your order for the artwork, I will not make the changes unless additional fees are paid (the exact amount to be determined, depending on the scale of the change). The responsibility is on you to ensure that your order contains the details you want me to follow. I will not redraw commissions unless payment is sent for a second order.

Use of My Artwork

Commission pieces from me are for private use only by the commissioner/client. You can use it for banners, graphics, personal prints, desktop wallpapers, etc., but you cannot use it for any profit. This means my artwork should not appear on any product that is sold. If I find that you use it for profit, I will not accept commission orders from you in the future.

Commissioners/clients are also allowed to upload the artwork wherever they wish, provided that my signature is not removed and a link and/or credit to me, my email, or my commission page is provided. If you are reuploading my artwork, please upload a watermarked version if it is for public galleries.

Rights to the Artwork

The rights to the artwork remain with me. I am the creator of the artwork and you only retain rights to your character and the usage of the unwatermarked artwork. If you are selling your character rights (and your art of that character) to another person, you cannot charge them more money for the artwork than you paid me for the unwatermarked commissioned artwork I created for you.

You do not have permission to mint an NFT (non-fungible token) of the commissioned artwork.

Private Commissions

If you request the commission to be private (i.e. I cannot upload it to my galleries or use the work to advertise my services), then there is an additional 25% charge (order total multiplied by 1.25). This is because I lose out on the opportunity to display my skills for potential clients. Normally, I own the rights to the artworks to showcase in my portfolios. You still cannot use my artwork on any product that you sell.

It is okay for you to upload watermarked versions to personal picture albums/collections such as Photobucket, Weebly, Toyhou.se, etc., but please credit me in the Title or Description of the uploaded file.

Refund Policy

The amount of money that can be returned depends on how far I have gotten on working on the commissioned piece at the time of refund request. Please not, refunds will not return PayPal fee amounts back to you, so you may receive 3-5% less than the original ammount you had sent. Percentages returned are based on the amount of money I received (meaning: amount you sent minus PayPal fees = amount I received; I calculate refunds from the final amount).

Not Started: 100% of the amount
Sketch: 60% of the amount + sketch
Line Art/Partial Paint: 30% of the amount + line art/partial painting
Completed/Mostly Completed Art: No Refunds
